Our school-based mental health programs provide trauma-informed restorative-based services to youth and families to promote awareness and positive strategies for success in and out of school. We work with the parents/guardians to strengthen their ability to resolve problems and to support their youth. And importantly, we work with the entire school community to ensure that schools have the capacity to meet the social-emotional needs of their youth, families and staff.
I’ve worked with people who are a testament to the therapeutic process: They discover what they need in order to facilitate change and growth for themselves, utilizing me and our relationship to help them in that process.

Healthy Communities programs empower young people, families and community members to make positive decisions about their health, wellness, family and educational success through access and linkages to existing resources and information that support lifelong learning and growth.
These dynamic hubs of accessible, coordinated, integrated and comprehensive services and programs support young people and families to make positive decisions about their health, wellness, school and family success. Healthy Communities programs include Community Schools, Beacon Centers, School-based Health Centers and First 5 Family Centers.

Early Childhood Educator - First Five Center

We need committed and enthusiastic Program Instructors to lead academic, physical, and enrichment activities for After School programs.
Our current openings are located in the San Francisco, Marin, and Contra Costa counties. Program Instructors must be able to work with groups of up to 20 during the after school hours of 2pm to 6pm.
Seeing the kids growth through the years, despite the odds being against a lot of them, is what inspires me to be here.
Before & After School Site Coordinator - San Francisco
Interns in our Clinical Internship & Training Program are a fundamental part of the treatment and training team. They receive excellent training and supervision while being challenged, supported, and exposed to a variety of situations. They must be able to commit 16 to 20 hours a week for one school year.
Previous experience with youth, substance abuse prevention, schools, or clinical experience is helpful. We encourage interns with a strong desire to learn and a commitment to supporting at-risk youth.
We’re seeking strong leaders who are passionate about working with underprivileged youth.
AmeriCorps Members must commit to a full 11-month term. They meet weekly with their AmeriCorps Supervisor and a team of 20 who are doing similar work in nearby communities.
Members gain valuable on-the-job training and experience at schools and nonprofit agencies throughout the Bay Area.
