Gabby started her journey with BACR in 2013 as an afterschool program instructor with WCCUSD. In the fall of 2013, she transitioned into The Youth Support Program as a program coordinator, where she developed a passion for administration. YSP was a teaching and mentoring program that paired UC Berkeley students with students at a local middle school in Berkeley. During the summers, Gabby would support the HR team in onboarding new hires. In 2018, she transitioned to the HR team, now, serving as the Directory of People and Culture. She leads all aspects of Human Resources in alignment with the agency's commitment to racial equity and inclusion, including but not limited to recruiting/retention, benefits, hiring/onboarding, performance management, compliance, training and development, and all other HR strategy and operations. 

 

Gabby holds a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education and has received her Human Resources Management Certificate from Cal State East Bay.
